It’s interesting what you learn about your team when you’re not in the office.

Don’t you just love those team members who take a task and deliver it – on time and in full. Every time you ping them an email it seems to take only minutes before they get back to you, telling you it has been done.

I love that. Speed of implementation.

You see, we all know that the biggest difference between high profit businesses and average profit businesses can be encapsulated in one word:

I-M-P-L-E-M-E-N-T-A-T-I-O-N.

They just get more stuff done.

And you know the key to getting more stuff done?

Speed.

Shorten the time between the idea and the implementation. That’s the key.

Speed.

The actual amount of time it takes to get something done, anything, is rarely that great.

But most business owners are great at having ideas and adding them to the list, and less good at completing the work and getting it implemented. And if you think this doesn’t apply to you because you don’t have a team, what about your suppliers?  Who’s really got your back?  Who implements on time, every time?

What are the top two or three things on your list that you’d like to happen in your business? Get them done today. Or tomorrow. But don’t wait till Wednesday.

Implement.

Fast.

Increase the ‘metabolic rate’ of your business.

I promise you it’s the single most useful thing you can do to become a highly profitable.

Have a great week,
Jo
