I love Disney theme parks.  There I’ve said it.  I love them and I’ve been to the parks in Florida, California and even Tokyo (note to self, must get to Paris).

It’s not just the rides, although who doesn’t love Space Mountain? Nor is it bumping in to Mickey and friends.

It’s the on brand, on message production of the whole experience.

From the little bus that takes you to the monorail, that takes you to the queue to get in.  To the jaunty music that gets you toe tapping up Main Street USA and right back round again.

I don’t even mind the “Exit Through The Gift Shop” culture and I’m usually pretty happy to buy myself a little bit of Disney magic to take home.

But recently I went some where the messaging was even better.  From start to finish everyone was on board.  Everyone. Even staff who weren’t directly involved in the event, it was seamless.

And this got me thinking about how powerful this was and how it enhanced our whole experience by making us feel super special from start to finish.

So how does your business stack up?

Does everyone in your team know what you stand for and why you started your business in the first place?  Do they understand and have they bought in to your business dreams and how they impact them?  Have you made it easy for them?

And if you don’t have a team, this still applies to your business because without, you won’t grow.

Does every email, text or Whatsapp you send reinforce your brand identity. I don’t just mean your super snazzy newsletter, I’m talking about your “order confirmation” or “your package is on the way” emails.  Have you personalised them, or are they still the generic one size fits all version?

Whether in person or via your helpful robots, on brand messaging that truly reflects the personality of your business and leaves your customers smiling is a must.  Go and check yours today and add your own little bit of fairy dust.

Oh, and that magical, better that Disney place?  Windsor Castle – it was Royally fantastic.
